Academic Programs

  • The Oregon City School District also has a migrant recruiter (Evelia Juarez) who works with school staff to identify students who may qualify as migrant students. Once identified, the recruiter works to remove barriers for these students (and their families) in accessing their education.

  • Oregon City Robotics provides hands-on robotic activities for students in grades K-12. Students can participate in camps, classes and FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Competitions. We partner with FIRST through JrFLL (Jr First Lego League), FLL (First Lego League), FTC (First Tech Challenge) and FRC (First Robotics Competition).

Each team designs, builds and programs their own robots for regional and world competitions. These teams meet after school throughout the year.

For more information on JrFLL and FLL please visit the LEGO Robotics website. For more information on FTC and FRC please visit the C.A.I.S. Robotics Website.

  • Oregonhealthcare.gov provides Oregonian's an automated application and enrollment process for both Medicaid (OHP) and other health coverage.

Most Oregonian's will be able to apply and enroll all in one sitting using the online application. Local computer access is available at the Oregon City Public Library.

Applying through the automated process means that most people will receive an instant notification about the type of coverage they qualify for.

Application assistance can be obtained at the Beavercreek Health Center (Se habla español).

There is a yearly open enrollment period but if you have a 'life event' you may be able to enroll outside of the official enrollment period.

Oregonian's who have situations that require special processing, such as pregnancy, Tribal memberships and life threatening illnesses should be sure to answer the questions carefully to get the most accurate determination.
